12 Days of Campus Captains ✨ On day nine of our celebration, we want to recognize the amazing advocacy efforts from our Campus Captains at Fuquay Varina High School. ✨ The Hidden Opponent at Fuquay has repeatedly wowwed us, most notably receiving an adidas grant that they used to host a “Mindful Miles 5k,” creating an athlete and parent brochure, and being named our high school chapter of the year. These high school Campus Captains continue to show up, pushing boundaries and creating waves in the mental health advocacy space. When asked about the program, they stated: “Being a Campus Captain has pushed us to step outside our comfort zone and openly talk about mental health. We’ve grown so much in our confidence and leadership skills. It has been amazing to see the impact our chapter can have on other students.” We are so proud of the work these athletes have accomplished at their school and beyond.
