President Donald Trump is preparing to unveil new deals with multiple pharmaceutical companies as part of his "Most Favored Nation" push to reduce the cost of prescription medicines.
A news briefing in the White House's Roosevelt Room is set for Friday at 1 p.m.
Citing two unnamed sources, CNN reported that the briefing will include representatives from at least five drugmakers.
"The attendee list remains in flux and could still change depending on which agreements the administration can finalize in time for the announcement, the people cautioned," according to the media outlet.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Levitt said "Trump will be announcing more incredible deals that will lower prices of drugs and pharmaceuticals."
