A SpaceX Falcon 9 launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Wednesday morning, around 7:20 a.m., carrying 27 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
After liftoff, the rocket’s first stage successfully landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship in the Pacific.
This launch supports Department of War communications through advanced low-Earth orbit technology.
Residents in Ojai, Ventura, Oxnard, and Camarillo may have heard a sonic boom 5–10 minutes after launch, with the best chance in Ojai and Ventura.
