Authorities have announced murder charges against Nick Reiner, the son of legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner, following the shocking deaths of Reiner and his wife, Michele, in what investigators are treating as a homicide. Here’s what we know so far. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman and LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell held a press conference on the case on Tuesday, Dec. 16. McDonnell announced Nick is being charged with two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances in the death of his parents. “These are some of the most serious charges the D.A. can present against anyone,” Nathan Hochman started, “I anticipate this being a very thorough" investigation.
