When a small puncture wound on her muzzle hadn’t healed after a week, I decided not to wait another week+ for a regular vet appointment and instead checked out Savannah’s newest dog and cat wellness clinic. Buckle up - this one’s a little long, but I just need to brag on these people. Neighborhood Vet opened their doors just a couple of weeks ago and is located in downtown Savannah on W. Anderson St. They’re a wellness clinic (not a full veterinary hospital), so for major issues you may be referred elsewhere - but they offer same-day appointments and walk-ins (time dependent), and getting in was incredibly easy. From the moment we walked into their adorable space, we were met with the kindest staff - truly, every single person we interacted with was wonderful, including Dr. Kinsey herself.
