Before, during, and after culinary school, I was rejected from hundreds of jobs at various food publications and all of my freelance writing pitches were declined. I still desperately wanted to be a recipe developer, SO I started developing recipes. (It’s funny bc reading that back it sounds so obvious, but that revelation was very delayed for me.)
