Ladies and Gentlemen meet Amar 👾 •••#STORYTIME #LONGPOST This past weekend we went to church and I wanted my sons to attend children’s church. Well, Amar has never transitioned well to spaces with a bunch of people he doesn’t know. To this day he tells me he doesn’t want to go to school, even though he also says he has a good time and everyone is nice to him. Anywho, I stay in the back of his church classroom for a few minutes to try and ease his anxiety. And for all those minutes I watched him fight back tears 🥺 I finally decide to leave but I go up and talk to him first. He instantly gets sadder and tells me he will miss me if I leave the room. 😭 I explain I will be in the building just a different room. That doesn’t work. So I pull out the big joker.
