A high-protein meal the whole family enjoys
Inspired by our blog, these chicken gyros are quick, flavorful, and packed with protein. A creamy Snowville yogurt marinade and fresh homemade tzatziki make them a total weeknight win.
Chicken Gyros:
• 2 tbsp Snowville Plain Yogurt
• 1.25 lbs chicken
• 4 garlic cloves
• Juice of 1 lemon
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tsp red wine vinegar
• 1 tbsp oregano
• Salt & pepper
• Sliced tomatoes, red onion, 4 pitas
• 1 cup tzatziki (below)
Tzatziki:
• 1 peeled English cucumber
• 2 cups strained Snowville 6% yogurt
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• Dill, olive oil, lemon or white wine vinegar
Instructions:
Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon, garlic, oil, vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper for 1 hour. Cook on broiler, grill, or skillet until done, then slice. Warm pitas. Mix tzatziki ingredients and chill. Assemble and enjoy!
