So much can change in a year. Today, June 11th, marks the 1 year anniversary since my final surgery (after having my colon removed, wearing an Ostomy bag for 9 months, and 3 surgeries). I didn't think I would be this emotional, but I'm truly grateful for all the opportunities I've had, my family and friends (all of you) that have encouraged and supported me, and for a surgery that saved my life. Last year I was in a hospital bed, and a few days ago I performed in my first live show.
