New serenaandlily rug! 😍 Here's a fun story: One day, while in a NOTHING-IS-CLEAN quarantine rage, I disregarded explicit directions and dumped an entire bottle of scented vinegar on our old rug because I was convinced that it would make it look and smell like it did when I rolled it out back in 2015. Spoiler: it did not. And despite trying to wash it out, the vinegar smell was so strong that it made me queasy. And then I questioned whether I was pregnant and freaked out. Spoiler: I was not.⁣ 😆 ⁣ I was, however, heartbroken because I loved that old (discontinued) thing. But while I don't think it showed in photos, our family had destroyed it. It was in a super high-traffic area in our first home; you opened the front door and stepped right onto it because there wasn't any space for a foyer.
