❓ Poll: What would you choose? A new pair of shoes or a new rug? (This stunning one that we just put down in Lucy's room is by SerenaandLily, btw!)⁣ ⁣ Never did I think that the latter would ever be my answer, but over the last few years, I've found myself *browsing and reading interior design pins/blogs instead of fashion pins/blogs.* (Like, WHOA. 🤣) Don't get me wrong: I still have a shoe problem. 💁🏼‍♀️ But interior design is what I dream about now, and I'm constantly trying to figure out how I can add character and depth to spaces while also making them feel warm and inviting.⁣ ⁣ During our short tenure as homeowners, I've made countless design mistakes. 🙈 I can't tell you how often I've ordered a piece—completely convinced that it's perfect for a room—only to get it in there and hate it. It's fine. 😝 Design and taste are ever-changing, right? And every mistake that I've made has (eventually) led to something I love!⁣ ⁣ Anyway, these are some photos of the current state of Lucy...
