It’s all happening! 😁🤷🏼‍♀️🥳 A few weeks ago, Emma told me she wanted an “animal backpack” like her friend had, and we painstakingly looked at every one ever created until we found this butterfly one, which she fell in love with because none of the other ones were very pinkatastic. (There *was* a cute pink pig, but he was an imposter because he CLEARLY wasn’t Peppa Pig.) The butterfly arrived, we opened it, and Emma adored it. But yesterday, she timidly told me that she’d changed her mind and what she *really* wanted was a blue (?!?) Elsa backpack, even though her friend had an animal backpack... aaaand “maybe you can use the butterfly backpack for work and I can have an Elsa backpack for school, Mommy?” 😂🥰🤷🏼‍♀️ No matter. I remember what a big deal it was to pick out your backpack every year, and hey: this is her FIRST! We also luckily still have a couple of weeks to painstakingly consider every *Elsa* backpack ever created since pre-schoolers have a delayed start. We’ll get it...
