BEST NEWS EVER! Our ✈️ back to Chicago was cancelled due to extreme cold, and we’re “stuck” in Florida until Sunday. 🌴 Can’t say we’re sad; the National Weather Service is saying that Chicago should expect lows in the -30s... and with windchill, possibly -60?! And if outside for as little as three to five minutes, a person will likely get frostbite. 🥶 (I am failing to grasp these concepts. ☃️ Like, what?) Needless to say, we’re feeling very grateful, and sending warm thoughts to our friends back home. (Stay safe, everyone! ♥️) And yes: this is the first time that we’ve actually been happy about the “Larkin Family Flight Curse.” 🤣 (If you’re new here, nearly every one of our flights has been cancelled or delayed, all with different airlines and/or due to different circumstances, over the last couple of years, haha. 🤷🏼‍♀️) So yeah!
