Had the BEST time this weekend at the annual Larkin Family Fall Festival, even though it snowed. 🍁🤷🏼‍♀️❄️ Mitch and I are currently driving back to Chicago, and Emma and her four-year-old cousin are staying at the lake house with Gammy and Pop Pop for a few days for a little girls’ getaway. I’m kind of 😭 because she was totally unfazed when we left 😂 but I know she’s going to have a blast. 👧🏼👧🏼 Also really looking forward to some QT with Mitch; catching up on work, laundry and sleep 💤; and scrubbing EVERY SQUARE INCH OF OUR HOUSE. 🧽 What kind of takeout should we get tonight?! And what movie should we watch?! And where should we go to dinner tomorrow?! Okay yeah I’m totes fine over here. 💁🏼‍♀️🤣💃🏼 Btw: this scarf is my FAVORITE and it’s back this year! I love it because it’s a great plaid but not Christmassy and therefore can be worn well into January, February and March.
