During the holidays, so many young families have to make the difficult and emotional decision: whether to “break off,” for lack of a better phrase, and celebrate at home on their own. Up until recently, it was just the two of us, and Mitch and I could totally make it to all the gatherings and celebrations! It just required lots of flights and multiple weeks spent living out of suitcases, as his family is in the Midwest and mine’s spread out in and around the tri-state area. Worth it, since we both didn’t want to miss anything!
