🍁🍃🍂 Constantly amazed by the camera on the iPhone XS Max. (Though what a mouthful, and kind of a contradictory name. 🙄) According to Mitch, our local Apple guru, it has something called “Smart HDR,” which brings more highlight and shadow detailing to images. 📱 It also has “Depth Control,” which allows you to change the bokeh *after* you take the pic. Bokeh, in short, is that beautiful blurry background we all know and love! 📷 With traditional cameras, it’s achieved with a wide aperture setting, but the iPhone’s software *digitally* does the work for you. All you have to do is move a little slider. Slide to the left: blurry. Slide to the right: crisp! Easy-peasy. Swipe right to see a better example. (Woof. 🐶) Pretty cool!
