November is National Adoption Month 💜 As an adoptive mom, I’ve learned that love is the bridge but it’s not the whole journey. Adoption is beautiful, yes, but it’s also layered. It’s identity. It’s culture. It’s grace and growth, every single day. I’ve had to listen more than I speak, learn alongside my children, and make space for every part of their story, the joy and the grief. Being their mom doesn’t erase where they came from; it honors it. This month, I celebrate every adoptive family doing the work to see beyond the “picture-perfect” moments. I celebrate every birth parent, every adoptee, and every story in between.
