Comment below If you eat your latkes with Apple sauce or sour cream (i do both) 🤤 xx Potato Latke Recipe Serves 4 4 potatoes, peeled & grated 4 tbsp flour 1/2 white onion, grated 1 egg Salt + pepper 5 tbsp vegetable oil 1 cheese cloth or clean kitchen towel 2 tbsp chives, thinly chopped 1/2 cup sour cream Directions 1. Wash and peel potatoes. Use a grater to grate each potato. Place into a bowl. Add grated potatoes to the center of a cheese cloth and fold in all corners. Squeeze out all access liquids. Add potatoes back to a clean bowl. 2. Grate 1/2 white onion into the grated potato mixture. Add in 1 egg, flour and salt + pepper. Mix together. 3. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil and once oil is hot (you can test the oil by adding in a little piece of the mixture and seeing if it cooks) add 1 tbsp of the potato mixture to the oil.
