I really debated taking the crying part out, but I feel like it’s something most moms go through postpartum and I wanted to show that you aren’t alone. ❤️ This isn’t about being skinny or fat or anything like that. It’s about feeling comfortable in your body. As much as I preach about loving your body for the miracle it has created and the family it has given you, I am product of this society as well and can’t help but get down on myself too. Even if you look good to others it can be challenging adjusting to your new body, even if it’s temporary. Now with all that said, while it’s a normal feeling I think it’s important we don’t sit in that feeling. Taking drastic measures to “bounce back” isn’t helping us. It took us 9 months to grow a baby, we shouldn’t expect everything to “go back” in a few weeks. And here’s the thing, it may not all go back and that’s okay! Our body grew our baby! I refuse to believe we were put on this earth to turn 23 and then spend the rest of our lives ...
