It took me way too long to figure out I had options when it came to the glucose pregnancy gestational diabetes test. *Please not this is not medical advice. I am just one mom sharing her experiences in hopes that it helps bring light to some thing I had no clue about to others 🤗❤️ ALWAYS talk to your health care provider and discuss with them your options.* Personally, I liked monitoring it myself this time around. I didn’t need to carve out an hour and half to go to the lab to get tested just for them to say I failed. Then have to go to the 3 hour test where you have to stay at the lab during the duration of the testing just for them to tell me I don’t have gestational diabetes there too! 🤪 If you want to do the one hour test to get it over with you can do what’s called The Fresh Test instead of the drink the lab provides.
