So what’s a parent to do?? 1) Be mindful of the toys in your house. See how accessible the batteries are in the toys. I do my best to avoid toys that require these types of batteries (especially for the little ones) but when it comes to some of the educational products I opt for product size that require a screwdriver to change the battery. 2) Even if you avoid all battery operated toys SO many things in this day and age require lithium coin batteries.
