May is… 1. Lupus Awareness Month- I was misdiagnosed with osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, all kinds of stuff. They didn’t believe me when I would tell them the type of pain I was experiencing. Luckily a trip to the ER after years of trying to figure out what was going on with me yielded to a diagnosis. Afterwards I experienced extreme depression and was out of work for 6 months. I was mentally and spiritually broken. 11 years later, I’m thriving.
