Ayden asked me to bring him some lunch today…this is his second time in 2 weeks asking me to do this. Mind you, Ayden has never been one to pack his lunch nor has wanted me to be anywhere remotely close to that school 🙄😂…Initially I told him that he could pack his lunch if he didn’t want school lunch. Something in my spirit told me to go back and read the text again. And it read, “Mom, bring lunch today and call me to office to get it.” Last week it was just “can you drop me some lunch off”… Last night Ayden sent me a video about a mother and son talking in the car about death. He simply asked, “thoughts?” I called him to come in my room to check on him physically. Asking why he’d sent me that particular video. Was he having thoughts of $uicide. He assured me he wasn’t. After a few more minutes of conversation, I was comfortable enough to trust that he just wanted to have a natural conversation about death. I’m definitely going to take him some lunch today.
