It's national infertility awareness week...the journey to motherhood for myself was a tumultuous one...one that had me depressed, bitter, and almost divorced...BUT GOD! As I reflect back on my journey, it's one filled with pain and beauty...at times I still get sad but know that God had bigger plans for my life and I'm okay with that NOW! It took a lot of patience with myself, extending myself grace, healing through therapy, and praying to God to reveal to me what motherhood would be for me... After 8 miscarriages, 2 failed IVF attempts, and 10 years of trying...I'm FREE...I'm free because I know that while my children may not all be biological, I'm still their person, it's me, I'm MOM! ❤ #nationalinfertilityawarenessweek #infertility #miscarriages #healing #AdoptionJourney #motherhood
