Some days are better than others. For the most part, I try to allow them to live and experience their college lives, experience being young adults, experience new and exciting adventures without helicoptering over every single thing...I'm trying to give them the courtesy of "figuring it out" with me being right here when they need me.

I know that I've had 18 years with Zariyah to prepare and 7 years with Karleigh...but as a mom, we are never really prepared for the day our children graduate high school, turn 18, and move hours away to go to college...all in one summer. From May-August it just seems as if your world is moving at such a fast pace...its literally like you blink and boom, they're grown β€

Parents, we are allowed to go through those stages of grief π. So yes, some days are better than others and I know that God will continue to give light to their paths and order their footsteps. I know that they will always need their mom ...
