When girls are younger we dream of our husband's one day having similar qualities to those of our fathers...moreover, we desire to have strong, loving, kind, understanding, and compassionate fathers for our own children. Some men don't grow up with examples of what a good father look like, being primarily raised by a single mother. They may at times have some good role models to help sharpen the iron, and hopefully it's consistent. My husband always told me he wanted to be the father he dreamed of having to our children. He's been that PLUS some! My dad played a major role is helping to sharpen my husband's iron and I'm greatful 🙏🏾 We don't see enough of men taking on these types of roles and it saddens me.
