#TriggerWarning *
As a therapist, I know how important it is for me to continually heal❤When I was 18, I thought I had my life all figured out. If I could go back and tell my 18 y/o self one thing, it would definitely be to "hold on"...things will get really bad, you'll hit your rock bottom...BUT GOD!
Even when we think we're just fine, something can trigger a setback.
After experiencing trauma, you'll always be ever growing through grief and healing along the way. Forgive yourself. Extend yourself some grace. HOLD ON! Your greater is coming 🙏🏾❤
I was hesitant about trying this trend on tik tok but I'm so glad I did. Every opportunity to heal a bit more, teaches me to trust the process and live in the moment. The past is a place of reference, not a place of residence. I'll continue to tell my story for my own healing through the test I've endured in hopes that my testimony help someone else feel less alone and more encouraged ❤
