Before it's over, I wanted to acknowledge CROWN DAY! Crown Day marks the anniversary of @thecrownact that was signed and passed into California Law on July 3, 2019. It is and was necessary in order to protect against discrimination in the workplace and public schools against natural hair and styles. As a person who has experienced this in the workplace, it is horrible and no way reflects a persons ability to get the job done or their work ethic. I have fully embraced my NATURAL CROWN and have created a workspace for others to also feel empowered to do the same!
