"Why are you always promoting black girl magic and other black cultural things if you have a white son. I thought you were about inclusiveness. Your son is going to feel voiceless in his on home. While I think adoption is good, I don't feel like people should adopt different races because the kid will grow up feeling like they don't belong."
My response:
1. I was born black and I'm going to die black. Me having a white son does not negate the fact that I'm black! Me being proud of who I am and also understanding that representation matters, is for my black and brown children to ALWAYS know their worth. I have 4 children, not just one. I cater to all 4 of them. I've been "Raising Cultures", I think I got this down pact!
2. I'm going to ALWAYS promote myself, I am magical and just so happened to be black, TF you thought 🦄
3. You can't be "inclusive" and excuse yourself out of that. My son is going to know he has a black mother, if not by ignorance of others, definite...
