I didn't understand the importance of cousins until my children didn't have any. Growing up, my cousins were my first best friends and I could always count on them to be there. I'm the oldest of 6 children. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Since 2003, when Zariyah was born, my siblings have had the blessing of being Aunts and Uncles.
