I have a question for those persons in the black community that oppose to black families adopting white children but not oppose to white families adopting black children. Let's chat. I really want to understand this.

Many times with transracial adoption where Caucasian families adopt children of color, they are met with pleasantries like, "How wonderful of you to have adopted" or "You're doing an awesome thing for that child." It's been a very normal and acceptable action to see white families with children of color through adoption. We're oftentimes met with opposition from some black people who are truly disgusted and disappointed that we didn't adopt a black child. Smh.
