Gay cruising app Sniffies has followed the likes of Spotify and Grindr in releasing its 2025 user data, and Melbourne has come out on top, so to speak, as far as swallowing is concerned. More than 2.1 million cruisers attended over 200,000 groups around the world this year, according to Sniffies’ data, with the most popular group type being ‘pump and dump’ with around 600,000 attendees. Melbourne earned the title of global capital of swallowing, with the data showing the Australian city is home to the highest percentage of swallowers.
