Jack Hughes prior to his return yesterday & Luke Hughes last weekend gave their thoughts on their older brother Quinn Hughes getting traded from Vancouver to Minnesota two weeks ago and if there’s any disappointment the deal was not with New Jersey. The Devils were one of the finalists negotiating with Vancouver as they were willing to welcome him to the team without knowing if he’d re-sign when becoming a UFA in 2027, however Minnesota ultimately landed Quinn as the Devils could not free up cap space to add him.
