Morocco began its Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 2-0 win over a resilient Comoros team in Rabat on Sunday, courtesy of a 55th minute Brahim Díaz strike and a stunning bicycle kick from Ayoub El Kaabi. The Atlas Lions, who are hosting the tournament, were frustrated throughout the first half and even missed an 11th-minute penalty. But the 2022 World Cup semifinalist found the breakthrough 10 minutes after the restart, when Díaz struck from close range to give his nation a 1-0 lead. The highlight came 19 minutes later, though, when substitute El Kaabi produced a moment worthy of winning any game.
