Whatever the future holds for TE87 in his career, I’m honored and humbled to have the opportunity to photograph him twice this year (once at the Super Bowl 🤯 not sure I’ll ever fully wrap my head around that tbh). He’s been my favorite player since his rookie season with the Chiefs and I know a great tight end when I see one (no that’s not a joke - I’m totally serious, it’s my favorite position in football) and watching his crazy dynamic route running and his ability to almost always find a way to get open made me excited to watch football again after a little bit of a hiatus in my late 20’s, before I started shooting sports in 2014.
