A special one to share this side of Christmas – the #buteenergywelshcup R1 highlights for the #fawales. This coverage felt particularly meaningful as we had the pleasure of working with our new friend seren_farrup from the FAW’s BE Mentoring Football Scheme, who made her presenting debut with us. Seren wasn’t just in front of the camera – she brought real insight, passion and authenticity, with first-hand experience of playing for both sides involved in this local Rhondda derby. That lived experience added something truly special to the piece. For a first presenting outing, she was calm, confident and completely natural – a brilliant start to what we’re sure will be many more to come. A lovely way to wrap up our Bute Energy Cup highlights coverage for this year, celebrating grassroots football, local stories and the next generation being given the platform they deserve.
