Happy Shab-e Yalda to all who celebrate. 🍉🍎✨ The longest night of the year and anight our ancestors marked for centuries by gathering together, sharing food, stories, poetry, warmth, and waiting for the return of the sun. Although Shab-e Yalda has been slowly erased in Afghanistan, dismissed and banned as something alien or pagan, it has never disappeared from us. Traditions like this don’t survive because they’re permitted. They survive because they’re lived, quietly, inside homes, families, and memory. This table, these fruits, this night - they are part of who we are. And no decree, border, or ideology can sever that. Darkness has a limit. Light returns. Happy Yalda. #ShabeYalda #history #persian
