This is 2013 me. I know, I look delicious, but that’s only half the reason for this post!
I see this pic now and realize it’s the most ripped and sexy body I’ve ever had in my life (stop staring! I’m being vulnerable here...), but I remember back then feeling like I had made almost no progress in my time working out. I thought I was still a skinny twig with no muscle definition, and on some more bloated days, I thought I was fat. I looked at these “progress pics” and felt depressed. I worked out so hard and consistently, and ate so much food that I felt like I could explode. I ended up exhausting myself inside & out. It wasn’t sustainable.
I was mostly working on commercials and tv, and so all I did was compare myself to the other guys on set that had been working out for years longer than me. Hey! Have you read a word I wrote?
