One of the high-altitude trekkers from our group said, people fall into either of these two camps: those that never want to trek again after having tried it once. And those that become addicted to it.
You guess which camp I fall into.🙈
During the final ascent of the Beas Kund trek, there was a cliff we had to climb to reach the summit - a cliff so narrow that it almost seemed impossible.
I’d be lying if I said that the thought of slipping didn’t cross my mind.
“What if I fall? Oh, my darling. But what if you fly?”
From the comfort of the mountain dogs and sleeping to the sounds of the rushing river to star-studded skies and meeting some of the kindest people on the way, this trek was full of unexpected joys. The star of the show - our cabbie Akhil who dropped us to the bus stop in Manali.✨
After multiple bruises, a swollen knee, and a crazy tan, can say this with utmost certainty that I simply can’t wait for the next trek with my dearest husband aabaad.baava ⛰️
