4 years after Super Typhoon Odette (internationally known as Super Typhoon Rai), communities in Bohol, Philippines gathered to remember loved ones lost and to hold onto hope through prayers and a community-led art installation across Ubay Island.⁣ ⁣ The collection of artworks, titled š‡ššš š¢š­ š¬šš šŠššš®š š¦šš-šØš§ (Challenge of the Future), was created by residents who lived through the storm, with artist newleeroy and greenpeaceph.⁣ ⁣ Made from local bamboo and items damaged by the typhoon, the pieces placed throughout the island tell stories of loss, survival, and the growing call for climate accountability.
