Replying to @misskish56 It’s been two years since I noticed my neighbor struggling and learned that his wife had passed away right before the holidays. At the time, I was just hoping to gather a few things to help a dad get back on his feet. Instead, people from all over the world showed up and helped give this dad and his kids a pretty epic Christmas. Over the past two years, I’ve been asked almost daily how the dad is doing and how the kids are doing. So this is a little update—and a refresher for anyone who may not be familiar with our story. A huge thank you to everyone in my community who has supported this act of kindness and so many others we’ve done over the years. I truly couldn’t do this without you.
