A sinkhole drained part of a canal in Shropshire, England, early on Monday, leaving several boats affected.⁣ ⁣ It was reported that two narrowboats sank into the cavity shortly after 0400 GMT, while two others were left stuck at the edge as water appeared to drain from the canal.⁣ ⁣ Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it responded to a landslip after receiving reports around 0420 GMT of a collapsed canal bank and flooding into nearby fields. ⁣ ⁣ West Mercia Police said there were no reports of casualties and urged the public to avoid the area and use alternative routes.⁣ ⁣ #UK #England #Shropshire #Sinkhole #Canal
