A sinkhole drained part of a canal in Shropshire, England, early on Monday, leaving several boats affected.
It was reported that two narrowboats sank into the cavity shortly after 0400 GMT, while two others were left stuck at the edge as water appeared to drain from the canal.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it responded to a landslip after receiving reports around 0420 GMT of a collapsed canal bank and flooding into nearby fields.
West Mercia Police said there were no reports of casualties and urged the public to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
