It’s been a powerful start to the ‘25–’26 school year - the programming team at Project LEARN has been igniting the imaginations of young people through a wide range of experiential learning opportunities for students in elementary through high school. Last month, we partned with the Greenhalge Elementary School to lead 3rd and 4th grade students through inquiry-based science lessons that spark curiosity and cultivate confidence. While 3rd grade scholars engineered windproof structures with straws and marshmallows, 4th graders were busy building edible - and delicious - models of the Earth’s layers! Hands-on projects like these capture students’ imagination and transport science from abstract concepts to experiential problem solving.
