This holiday season, one military family faced a hard reality. Their son is undergoing cancer treatment and couldn’t safely join a group USO Gaming studio tour due to a compromised immune system. Rather than letting him miss out, the USO worked with our program partners at Halo Studios to create a private, behind-the-scenes experience just for their family. What followed was a day filled with meaningful surprises, including a one-on-one studio visit, which made the season feel special again. Moments like this are a reminder that support isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about meeting service members and their families where they are, especially during the holidays.
