We got a chance to try the @Makeup By Mario new Jelly Jar Lip and Cheek Balm, and honestly beauty queens at first impression I was genuinely shocked. To me, this is something that really doesn’t read “Makeup by Mario,” but there’s a few reasons why I think this happened. One theory is that the brand is trying to gain new market share. Think about all the brands that launch lip balms and lip formats. And another is that there are market pressures to keep up with market demands. Truly, this is a lip balm in jar format. The product is nice, but personally, I don’t love the function. That’s not to say that there isn’t a customer out there for the product! But what do you thinj beauty queens?
