Winter Solstice is here! 🌝✨ This Peppermint Pine Moon Milk is such a lovely treat to celebrate the returning of the light and the longest night! Both peppermint and pine have an invigorating aroma known for their ability to open up airways! Peppermint is something I use often to ease stomach woes I get from the type of eating winter often entails.
Please note, pine varieties can misidentified and there are varieties (such a yew, ponderosa, Norfolk - to name a few) that are not safe to consume. The variety I am using is an eastern white pine. Please check the variety in your area. Never consume without being sure of identification. You can also buy pine needle tea online! As an abundance of caution never consume pine if you are pregnant.
With all that being said, pine is a delightfully beneficial tea! It’s rich in antioxidants and vitamin c! It also is said to bring about mental clarity. Perfect for this time of year!
