🥩😻 The cat’s meow of NYC dining -- goldencatnyc -- Chef Nicholas Tran hosts a new iteration of his popular, yet secret, intimate supper club bringing together great food and conversation in a cozy setting (a NYC apartment!). Chef trained in upscale kitchens (like Gramercy Tavern), and his supper club—formerly known as The Dark Room—seats eight. Diners book via DM & email, prepay (wine pairing optional), and receive the address upon confirmation. Guests arrive as strangers, and through this experience leave as friends after the multi-course meal. Signature dishes from past events included a Vietnamese heritage–inspired “Special Rice” and chicken-stuffed agnolotti, and dishes change up based on seasonality. Our wine pairing involved a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, an aromatic Riesling, and a medium bodied red, the Pinot Noir, which surprisingly paired well with clam pasta.
