🚨 WEATHER ALERT – SANTA CLARITA VALLEY 🚨 👋 Hey SCV, with today’s stormy weather rolling in, we want to check in and share a few important safety reminders: 🌧 Flood Watch (4 PM today – Thursday evening) Heavy rain may lead to flooded roads, mud or debris flows, and travel delays. Rainfall could exceed 1 inch per hour, with possible thunderstorms. 💨 High Wind Warning (through 3 PM Thursday) Winds of 25–40 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph, may result in downed trees, power lines, power outages, and hazardous driving conditions. 🚗 Safe Driving Tips Our deputies want everyone to get where they’re going safely: • Slow down and allow extra following distance • Never drive through flooded roads • Watch for fallen trees, power lines, and roadway debris • Use headlights in the rain and avoid sudden braking We’re out on patrol and here to help!
