Also known as PJAMS, the Pacific Jazz Ambassadors are a jazz combo comprised of students pursuing a three-year Accelerated Bachelor of Music Honors Degree in Jazz Studies at
@musicatpacific.
This year's Ambassadors include Mike Belasco on guitar, Joseph Evans on drums, Aimee MacDonald and Leo Milano on saxophone, and Kyle Saelee on upright bass.
A highly accomplished group, Belasco has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival as well as with various musical groups in the Sacramento and Bay areas. Evans has performed with notable artists that include Glen Zaleski and Aubrey Logan, and he also went on tour in Paris with up-and-coming artist JoDavi. MacDonald is one of just five collegiate musicians to win the Jazz Education Network's 2026 Sisters in Jazz Award.
