As 2025 comes to a close, we look back on our top 10 posts of the year! At #8, it is this satellite footage of #HurricaneMelissa: The US National Hurricane Center (nwsnhc_hurricanes) — which serves as WMO’s Regional Specialized Meteorological Centre — forecasted severe winds, storm surge and heavy rainfall for Jamaica. Haiti and the Dominican Republic were also affected by flash floods and landslides.
